pingg
Planning a party these days comes with SO many options. For those on short notice, I love email invitations. They are quick and easy and they keep track of guest information for you. The only think I haven't loved is the lack of selection - until now. Pingg.com is the ultimate evite site. Not only do you have the email option, but you can print invitations as well! If only I had these last weekend!

Doll House

Nothing is more DIY than a dollhouse... and every little girl should have one. Em got one for her birthday. If only I had seen these from Flickr, maybe I wouldn't STILL be working on fixing it up 3 months later...

ummm people are so into this... these doughnuts- the size of a pin head.

valentines day
So, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow - already! When we were dating, Dave and I decided we wouldn't spend lots of $ on this particular day, but rather make things or do something together. The tradition continued and so, I just finished making Dave & the girl's valentine's... a few ideas for everyone else who left it to the last minute:

sidetracked

Hello there! I apologize for my absence. The girls were so sick the past week and I just couldn't get to the computer... I did, however, find something new to occupy my ever diminishing free time... knitting! I am working on a scarf (perfect beginner piece), and although I am sure it will turn more like a rag than a garment, I'm pretty excited about it! My girlfriend, Kerry, lent me her beginning basics knitting book, "Knit Happens." (Emma promptly spilled a large glass of water on it, compelling me to buy a new one to replace it). Now, I was pretty certain I was terrible at knitting, having tried to teach myself on You-Tube, but this book really makes it simple. Hooray. Pictures of my sad scarf to follow!
